Job Title: Medical Writer Manager
Reports to: Deputy COO
Pharmetheus is searching for an experienced Medical Writer with successful leadership experiences as well as business development to be responsible for the ongoing development of Pharmetheus Medical Writing Team and to lead the development and expansion of this area.
This is a full-time position. The Medical Writer Manager will report to Pharmetheus deputy Chief Operating Officer.
Profile
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated person with previous experience from working as a Medical/Scientific writer together with strong leadership skills, and with a proven ability to develop and manage team performance and to work effectively. Preferably you have been part in developing a business area. You need to have good cooperation and communication skills, motivate others and to take initiative to business development and see business opportunities. It is also important to be well organized, with excellent planning and time management capability and a highly developed analytical mindset to be able to deliver in this important role.
Qualifications and experiences
• PhD or Master’s degree in Life Science
• Several years of experience in medical/and/or scientific writing
• Several years of line and project management experience
• Experience from developing a business area is a merit
• Good IT skills and use of standard office tool
• Excellent written and spoken scientific English, other languages are an advantaged

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a personal engagement
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and manage team performance and to work effectively
