Product Manager Oncology & other products

Teva is currently developing new innovative pharmaceuticals in several therapeutic areas to complement the current branded product portfolio. In the near future there will be novel highly valued products launched within oncology, respiratory and MS.

Teva Scandinavia is preparing for the new promising products by expanding the organization with complementary resources in several departments across the company.

The sales & marketing department will add resources to optimize the potential in the branded product portfolio including several new introductions.

Teva is now recruiting a
Product Manager responsible for Oncology and Other products.

Teva Sweden’s portfolio is big with over 110 molecules. Most of these molecules are substitutable on pharmacy level but there are exceptions;

· Innovative brands e.g. Copaxone, Airomir, Aerobec
· Biosimilars e.g. Ratiograstim, Eporatio
· Non-substitutable generic products

Teva Sweden has products in different life cycle stages. This position is about maintaining/growing mature products as well as launching other products. The portfolio covers a wide range of therapy areas. Externally, your key customers will be payors (drug formula committees). Internally, you will co-operate with supply chain department and colleagues within marketing and sales.

Main purpose and function of the position
In this role you will have 3 prioritized responsibility areas:

1. Responsibility for the non-substitutable generic products in Sweden.
The role requires an active portfolio management adapting the marketing strategy and operations to the specific market situation for each product.
That means identifying needs and gaps in the market place and develop business cases that motivates specific market investments that generates increased sales.

2. Market responsibility for a new “breakthrough pain” product within oncology/pain in Sweden
Responsibility for launch of a product that has price approval and is ready to go to market. Development of product plan, market access etc.

3. Regional responsibility (south of Sweden) for the existing Oncology portfolio
Take part regionally in a launch of a new Oncology product planned for 2014.
In the future the role may be responsible for coming new oncology products in Sweden

The Product Manager profile

Professional requirements and experience

· Solid experience in product management of innovative product in the pharmaceutical industry
· Experience in project management
· Experience of portfolio management is an advantage
· Experience from oncology/pain is an advantage
· LIF education

Key competencies and skills

• Marketing orientation – Ability to display alertness to marketing and technological developments and effective use of data. Proven knowledge/experience of regional Payors importance in Sweden.

• Excellent strategic business understanding and commercial analysis capabilities

• Strong competence within Project Management – ability to effectively plan, accomplish and follow up on several parallel projects and tasks

• Teamwork – Full cooperation and synergy with other members of the team

• Ability to take initiative, decisions and come up with ideas – Ability to identify opportunities and to take action accordingly; ability to work independently, and to implement plan

• Ability to manage negotiations with different parties – e.g. Payors

• Excellence in interpersonal relationships – Ability to show attentiveness and awareness towards other people; able to make initial contacts with new people. Good interpersonal communication skills

• Knowledge of the Country health care system

Miscellaneous
· Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken is mandatory
· PC skills
· Willing to travel domestically and internationally
