The BD Diagnostic Systems Nordic team consists of about 10 people with different specialist roles. The team is led by the Business Manager Nordic. The team members are working in a close collaboration to optimize customer satisfaction and reach business objectives.
The Swedish BD office is located in Stockholm and the Finnish office is located in Vantaa, close to Helsinki.

The position – a strategic and important role
The purpose of this role is to enhance BD Life Sciences Nordic presence in the market by ensuring more customer facing events leading to retention of legacy business and growth of BD new opportunities. To be a training and applications support for defined BD Diagnostic platforms. The Application Support Specialist position will have a main focus on TB and blood culture systems as well as microorganism identification and drug susceptibility systems.
This position is a temporary role covering a maternity leave for 1,5 years. Thereafter there is a probability for the right person to have a permanent employment. Your area of responsibility will be Finland and Sweden - from Stockholm and north. The hospitals are mainly county- region- and university hospitals. Calculate approximately 60 hotel night annually. Your place of residence has to be within your geographical area of responsibility.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Ideal PHD/ master Degree for molecular science, microbiology or bacteriology
- Strong PC/IT skills
- Driving license
Experience:
- 2-3 years working in microbiology
Language:
- Fluent in both spoken and written Finnish & English
Desirable:
- Commercial experience
- The Swedish language
