The Business Operations Manager, is responsible for the service- and the commercial operations in the Nordics. The function should drive a Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence Culture. There is a strong leadership need in the direct channels to drive a commercial and customer oriented culture, but also act as a Change leader for the whole commercial operations. The Business Operations Manager will define, drive and implement a common Business Operations Strategy. This need is magnified by the ongoing integration of all businesses under the one Hill-Rom umbrella. The position reports to the General Manager and is a member of the Nordic Management Team. The Business Operations Manager will work closely with Sales and Finance in the Nordics and the functions reporting into the European Director Business Operations (i.e service, rental and customer care).

Responsibility
• Partner with Management Team members to define an integrated Business Operations strategy and own the implementation.
• Lead the service- and customer care organization, set KPIs and ensure commercial targets are met.
• Ensuring top talent is in place in all positions within the team, coach and develop direct reports
• Identify areas of improvement in the organization, introduce new processes for ways of working and engage organization in the change process.
• Define and implement processes to improve distributor management and transform commercial effectiveness:
• Proactive coordination and management of customer care and service team.
• Implement effective processes to improve customer satisfaction and drive growth in revenue.
Define, drive and own KPIs for a Continuous Improvement (i.e. efficiency; best demonstrated practices). Develop scorecards and monitor progress and priorities against set goals
• Lead S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process for the commercial organization in Nordics based on amongst other CRM data.
• Provide program and project management structures, tools and processes to ensure a harmonized way of initiating, managing, tracking, reviewing and reporting progress on key change initiatives.
• Understand and support Hill-Rom positioning, products portfolio and go-to-market strategies build sustainable businesses positions, business productivity and operational efficiency
• Partner with the General Manager and country leadership team to develop strategic priorities, measure progress against key operating drivers for strategic execution.
• Organize, coordinate and help develop strategic dialogue between Business/Country/Region/Functions, including support of Long Range Planning processes

Education and experience
• University Degree or equivalent education / studies.
• Experienced Operations leader with experience from managing transformational projects.
• Deep knowledge and experience (strong track record) related to leading cross-functional projects and programs
• Highly proficient with business operating systems (preferably JDE)
• Experience in working in international / global matrix organizations.
• Experience from the Med-Tech or related industry is an advantage.
• Experience leading a service- and/or commercial operations organization is an advantage
