The Nordic commercial organization consists of a team of about 110 sales, marketing and tender experts plus support functions, in total 140 employees across Nordics. Turnover in 2017 was about 60MUSD.
General Manager - Nordics
The position

Reporting into the Regional Managing Director, the General Manager for the Nordics will be responsible for a P&L of about $60,5m (USD) and a team of about 110 Sales, Marketing and tender experts plus additional indirect reports in the support functions.

The successful candidate will be required to adapt and implement an innovative strategy to deliver long-term sustainable growth in line with Regional and Global business objectives. He/she will be a strong leader who is capable of developing and driving operational plans and efficiencies to achieve Sales Profit and Cash Flow. Moreover, he/she needs to create an effective team and foster cross-functional working. In essence, it is essential that the successful candidate is a change agent who can instill a culture of high performance, develop innovative go-to-market strategies and rejuvenate the business in the Nordic Region.

In January, the organization was changed from a Nordic to a Country set-up to foster new dynamics for the Nordic team, increase customer-focus through more in-country focus, bring Management closer to team and ultimately to customers and to provide more flexibility in usage of sales resources to meet internal and external needs. Marketing, Finance and HR remain Nordic.

The foundation is in place and the organization is now looking forward to having a result-oriented leader who is driven in delivering growth. This is a rewarding opportunity to be responsible for four markets with different cultures.
