The Regional Sales Manager position
 
ZEISS has a strong position in the Microsurgery market offering high quality products and solutions to healthcare and dental care in both the private and public sector.

In Microsurgery, the company provides high quality visualization solutions (Microscopes) for minimally invasive surgical treatments.

ZEISS broad and high-quality Microsurgery portfolio offers Microscopes in the following therapeutic areas; Neurosurgery, Plastic- and Reconstructive surgery, Spine surgery, Ear-, Nose and Throat surgery and Dentistry.

ZEISS is currently recruiting a Regional Sales Manager Microsurgery, with a focus on the products and solutions within the prioritized Microscopes portfolio.

The Regional Sales Manager will become the ZEISS expert on the Microsurgery product portfolio. The role will have direct responsibility for the business, customers and sales in the territory mid-northern half of Sweden (there is a Regional Sales Manager colleague responsible for south Sweden). The sales model for the product portfolio is based on both direct sales and tenders.

The Regional Sales Manager Nordics reports to the Director Nordics, Sales Microsurgery. The role has a close relationship and collaboration with different colleagues and functions within ZEISS Nordic. Important internal ZEISS partners are among other, Regional Sales Managers, Field Service Engineers, Customer service, Application specialist and Manager Nordics.


Key responsibilities
• Position ZEISS as a perceived premium brand and leader within MCS
• Generate sales growth in territory of responsibility (mid-north Sweden), by building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and achieve maximum customer satisfaction
• Be responsible for tenders, tender management and relations in region mid-north of Sweden
• Build long term relations with key stakeholders and valid decision makers within healthcare and dental care
• To sell and demonstrate within the product area, to key customers in defined healthcare areas of surgery


Qualifications, experience and competency profile
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager with the ability to develop the business and create strong long-term relations within Microsurgery.

The position is field based with home office and access to the ZEISS Nordic headquarters at Gärdet, Stockholm. The role requires travelling in Sweden, and you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English.


Experience, skills and competencies
• Solid healthcare sales experience, preferable within microsurgery or from Medical devices with excellent sales results
• Alternatively; solid experience from clinical surgery with sales talent and a genuine interest for business and sales
• Proactive ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent customer facing, relation building and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Commercially aware
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & listening)
• Analytical and business planning skills
• High energy and positive mindset
• Experience of tender business is an advantage


Education and knowledge
University degree in Nursing or other adequate experience
Fluent in Swedish and English (oral and written)
PC Literate/MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Drivers license
CRM-system
