Logistics and Customer service coordinator Scandinavia TILLSATT


Berner is looking for a Logistics and Customer service coordinator. The position holder is a logistics and customers service coordinator for Berner Groups Agency and Consumer goods business units.

This is a unique opportunity to work in an international environment with a lot of responsibility and collaboration with other colleagues in Sweden and Finland. Because this is a new position there is a chance to develop the role together with the team.

The Logistics and Customer service coordinator Scandinavia’s key accountability is coordinating logistics and customer service in Scandinavia and at times support for Finland. The role will be reporting to Regional Manager Scandinavia and work in a close partnership with Berner supply chain team, head of supply chain and with a Finnish colleague in a similar position. The role is based in Berner Group’s Malmö office.

Agency Business Unit and Consumer Goods are growing businesses and this position will be a great opportunity to be part of the journey to further develop the business areas.
When starting this position, you will have an introductory program led by your Finnish and Swedish colleagues.

Main purpose of the job
• Ensure excellent customer service towards Berners Scandinavian customers
• Maintaining cost efficient and high-quality logistics operations for Berners Scandinavian business
Operational tasks throughout the entire supply chain accordingly

Sourcing (Inbound):
• Order processing
• Follow-up of order confirmations
• Transport arrangements / ordering
• Monitoring in-transit traffic
• Goods receiving process / arrival control management
• Documentation management (customs, intrastat, etc)
• Checking of purchase- and logistics invoices
• Annual Environmental (packaging material) reporting [ftiab.se]

Sales (Outbound):
• Act as a first point of customer service contact for Berner
• Customer order processing
• Order confirmation sending (where needed)
• Picking / Transportation / distribution management
• Invoicing

Additionally:
• Act as a backup to Berner Medical customer service coordinator
• Warehouse balance reporting towards own factory
• Creating sales forecast together with KAM/export managers
• Maintain contact network with key internal and external stakeholders (customers, warehouse(s), factories, transportation companies, suppliers)
• Claim process
• Tendering and negotiation of import/export transportation
• Active participating in business development tasks, when needed
• Ensuring transparent and seamless communication and contribute to good and constructive team spirit.

Required experience, skills and profile
Work Experience
• 2-3 years minimum practical experience in Logistics or Customer service.
• Experience from:
- Container shipping
- Forwarding
- Customs in the Nordics
- Invoicing
- Sending orders, order confirmation

Education qualifications
Education:
Diploma in logistics, economy or management, or other relevant faculty (BSc)
Languages
Swedish, English, written and spoken
IT/Systems
• Experienced user of MS Office
• Good IT skills
