There are currently several global medical devices companies on the client list with a clear potential for future growth and expansion.
To meet those opportunities SHL Healthcare is currently strengthening the organization by adding more key resources to the team in Nacka Strand.
We are now recruiting a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead, manage and develop the global technology/design/product development department located in Nacka Strand and at the development and manufacturing site in China (currently approx. 40 employees in the department). This is a key leadership position focusing on technology-, design and product development, business development and corporate development.
We are seeking a dynamic CTO for SHL Healthcare AB, a market leader in Contract development and Contract manufacturing in the Med Teach industry. The CTO will drive the strategy and implementation of the technology platform developments, the design teams in Sweden and China, external partnerships and have close collaboration with our customers.
You have a passion for solutions, have an MSc degree in mechanical or Electronic engineering and prefer working in an international environment. You speak fluent English and Swedish and are today working already as an CTO or Design manager. You have relevant experience and have launched Medical Device products into production successfully. This position should attract individuals who is motivated by working as a team to ensure our customers satisfaction and seeing challenges as an opportunity for personal development.

Qualifications
- Master of Science in Engineering or Electronics, alternatively relevant job experience
- Solid experience from successfully leading technology/product development teams, preferably within the life science/medical devices industry
- Advanced technological skill set
- Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future
- Experience of working in a global organization is an advantage
- Experience working with regulatory requirements, quality systems and processes is an advantage
- Experience from software development is an advantage
Other
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English
High standard user of MS office and experience from working in an ERP system.
Able to travel regularly to the China factory and global customers
