Hillrom in the Nordics

In Nordics, Hillrom serve the market largely via a network of distribution partners and have direct presence in Sweden with a team of 30 employees. In addition, Hillrom has a manufacturing site for the Liko brand located outside Luleå, for supply of safe patient handling solutions worldwide.

In line with current market needs, there is a strong focus to grow sales of digital solutions that help transfer relevant, correct and instant patient data, enable early detection and clinical response at the same time as improving caregiver efficiency and facilitating care giver communication.

To succeed there is a need to strengthen the team and to develop the organization to encompass current rapidly growing-but also future-business needs in the Nordic markets.

 

TILLSATT - Connectivity Lead Nordics, Hillrom

The position – Connectivity Lead Nordics

There is currently a rapid development for Healthcare IT and digital solutions in healthcare, also in the Nordics. With the vision Advancing Connected Care™, Hillrom develops innovative and more connected solutions and have made targeted acquisitions, to provide customer value and grow the Hillrom business.

In Nordics, Hillrom is currently working on connectivity projects related to Welch Allyn® Connex® Spot Monitor as one example. This solution provides enhanced patient safety and caregiver efficiency through, among other, automatic transfer of relevant vital signs into the EMR system.

In order to benefit from the digital development and the commercial opportunities for Hillrom in the Nordics, a new leadership position is now being established, the Connectivity Lead covering all segments and business areas for Hillrom Nordic.

The Connectivity Lead is responsible for growing Hillrom’s presence in the digital solutions space in the Nordics, covering all product segments and business areas. The Connectivity Lead will define, develop and implement a strategic platform and plan for the connectivity business together with all key functions within Hillrom Nordics and also develop and drive account-level sales strategies and tactics. The position will also have a close collaboration with the Connectivity business lead function in the UK.

The Connectivity Lead reports to the General Manager and is a member of the Nordic Management Team and works closely with all key stakeholders and functions at Hillrom Nordics.

Job summary
The Connectivity Lead role is primarily responsible for driving growth of the connected business across the Global Busines Units in the pre-sales phase. The role helps achieve the revenue growth targets, lead at the regional level with third parties and at the local country level with solution proposal and proofs of Concept across the Hillrom portfolio.

Required profile
We are looking for a highly skilled digital and commercial leader with the excellent ability to develop the connected business and company sales in close collaboration with the Hillrom Nordic team and the Healthcare community.

Education and experience
• University Degree or equivalent education/studies.
• Solid experienced from commercial roles within Healthcare IT with excellent results (connected medical technology, EMR, software solutions)
• Deep knowledge and experience (strong track record) related to leading cross-functional projects and programs
• Experience from working in international / global matrix organizations
• Experience from the Medtech or related industry an advantage.
• Experience leading a service- and/or commercial operations organization is an advantage
• Fluent in English and Swedish, ability to communicate in other Nordic languages is a plus
• Excellent computer skills including, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce.

Competencies and skills
• Ability to lead and manage through the matrix Nordic with a relentless focus on results
• Authentic presence, with strong written, verbal, and presentation communications and influencing skills
• Ability to understand the needs of and deal with customers – ranging from biomedicals, purchasing, clinical and technical partners, distributor partners and internal team members.
• Ability to manage complex selling situations involving multiple stakeholders
• Enhanced level of technical and professional expertise to serve as the lead field resource in the area of connected devices, network installations and EMR connectivity options
• Hospital workflow understanding and end-user connectivity requirements to translate into technical and EMR connectivity and communication workflows
• Project management, resources coordination and system integration skills
• Strong analytical skills to effectively track sales activities, develop sales plans, understand local market and competitive trends, and complete sales deals
• Strong business acumen to enable selling to senior-level health care administrative personnel, structure sales deals, and reach pivotal agreements in the sales cycle
• Demonstrated planning and organizational and project management skills
• Ability to balance and manage multiple, competing priorities and projects.
