Global Surgical Solutions

Hill-Roms Nordic portfolio within Global Surgical Solutions (GSS) mainly consists of products from the recently acquired Trumpf Medical but also from Allen. Trumpf Medical portfolio offers a technologically advanced range of OR products and services, with a reputation for brand quality. Its offerings include flexible and modular OR tables, special purpose furnishings for OR settings and intensive care units as well as innovative OR lighting technologies and camera, video management, integration and surgical assistance systems. Trumpf Medical is regarded the world over as an innovative leader in medical technology. The Allen portfolio consists of technologically advanced surgical positioning equipment that enhances surgical access. Hillrom in the Nordics
In the Nordics Hill-Rom has direct presence in Sweden via a commercial team of 30 people with HQ
in Stockholm. In addition Hill-Rom has a manufacturing site for the Liko brand located outside Luleå.
Hill-Rom works via distributors in all Nordic markets for Front Line Care, Global Surgical Solutions and
Patient Support Systems except for FLC and PSS in Sweden where they are direct.
There is a strong focus on growth and to leverage the full potential of the acquisitions and there is
clear potential for a positive development in the Nordic markets for the different GBUs.
To succeed there is a need to further strengthen the team and develop the organization to
encompass the future business needs in the Nordic markets.

 

TILLSATT-Sales and Distribution Specialist Nordics, Hillrom


The position – Sales and Distribution Specialist GSS

The Sales and Distribution Specialist for Global Surgical Solutions (GSS) is a newly created position within the growing Hillrom organization in the Nordics. The Sales and Distribution Specialist GSS collaborates closely with the Sr Sales Manager GSS/PSS Nordics, the Commercial excellence Team, the European GSS commercial team in Germany (e.g. Marketing Director, Category Manager, Marketing Communication) and the Nordic distributors to maximize revenue and market share growth for the GSS portfolio. The Sales and Distribution Specialist is responsible for providing all the necessary forecasting information and maintaining strict monitoring of such information in the funnel tool, which details project, product, revenue and timings. The role is based in Stockholm and reports to the Sr Sales Manager GSS/PSS

Responsibility
• Focus on profitability, revenue growth against plan, maintaining costs and strategic company objectives.
• Closely collaborates with and supports distributors to maximize sales regarding all aspects i.e. portfolio development, tender support, pricing support, customer visits, dealing with quality issues among other.
• Provide regular forecast information
• Analyses market size, competitive market landscape and other information from all sources and develops local product strategies to improve sales, decrease cost levels and increase market share for all Hillrom product lines.
• Effectively aligns and co-operates with the EMEA marketing team, Global Business Unit (GBU) and internal stakeholders and is key to the development of our creation of a matrix organization
• Provides accurate input and maintains strict monitoring of such information in the CRM tool (project, product, revenue and timings)
• Works closely with the Sr. Sales Manager GSS/PSS Nordics as the subject matter expert for GSS in Nordics and is a key contributor to the Nordic organization

Required profile
Education and experience
• Academic Degree
• Solid experience from a marketing and/or sales position for medtech products – preferably long sales cycle products/projects
• International experience from matrix organization in a listed company is an advantage
• Proven track record of achievement of sales & market growth through liaison with personnel in International markets is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Ability to travel occasionally
