In Nordics, Hillrom serve the market largely via a network of distribution partners and have direct presence in Sweden with a team of 30 employees. In addition, Hillrom has a manufacturing site for the Liko brand located outside Luleå, for supply of safe patient handling solutions worldwide.
In line with current market needs, there is a strong focus to grow sales of digital solutions that help transfer relevant, correct and instant patient data, enable early detection and clinical response at the same time as improving caregiver efficiency and facilitating care giver communication.
To succeed there is a need to strengthen the team and to develop the organization to encompass current rapidly growing-but also future-business needs in the Nordic markets.

TILLSATT - Tender and Commercial Excellence Specialist Nordics, Hillrom
The position
Tenders are very common in the Nordic market and they are more complex than in the past. The tender and commercial excellence specialist is a new position that aim to ensure that Hillrom answers to tenders in a qualitative manner, maximizing the opportunity to win for Hillrom.
The position will be responsible for the whole tender process from monitoring journal advertisements for tenders/quotations, leading the tender process internally and submitting the final tender/quotation documents.
For the person holding this position it will be important to fully engage and challenge todays work process and seek improvements in the tender process, not the least before publication of the tender and after submission. To accomplish this, it is important to be able to actively and independently analyse and define critical success factors for the tenders in the broadest sense. It is also important to have the ability to compile information and to express oneself objectively and clearly in communication and writing when needed.
In cooperation with the rest of the Hillrom team the person holding this position is responsible to keep the digital platforms and customer portals up to date. This person will also support sales and distributor partners in different ways.
The Tender & Commercial Excellence Specialist will work closely with the sales managers, sales representatives and the commercial excellence manager who also is the manager of this position. The responsibility for tenders will be cross functional and cover Hillroms’ different departments. Focus will be on the Swedish market, but the position also includes support to distributors in all Nordic countries. The position is located in Stockholm.
Required profile
We are looking for a person who is analytic and at the same time understands the business and commercial side of tenders. You will have to like the idea of working in teams where you are the process leader who makes sure that the tender will be submitted correctly and in time. You need to have the right sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize and organize your work and effort. It is also important that you like to provide support and help internal and external customers in a timely and qualitative manner with the clear objective: To win as a team.
Depending on your previous experience, the position can be somewhat adapted, but you should have experience from dealing with tender process and LOU.
Education and experience
• Relevant University degree
• Relevant experience from tenders from healthcare/medical technology
• Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken. Additional Nordic languages a plus
• Basic knowledge of managing tenders and quotations as well of LOU and other tender regulations
• Must be computer literate working with email, Excel, Word
