Regional Sales Manager Diabetes

The position:Regional Sales Manager Diabetes, Stockholm and North of Sweden
A vacancy has arisen in the Swedish diabetes team for a Regional Sales Managers Diabetes for region Stockholm and North of Sweden reporting to the National Sales Director. The position includes line management responsibility for a team consisting of 6 direct reports.

The purpose of the role is to achieve the sales targets by implementing the marketing strategy and by motivating, developing and maximising the potential of the sales team.

We have exciting times ahead of us with upcoming launches, and your job is to motivate, coach and develop your team to deliver great results. You must be a strong leader who is good at planning, implementing and following-up on sales activities and activities aiming at increasing local customer- and market access. You spend most of your time on the field coaching and developing the diabetes care specialists. You will also ensure cross-functional collaboration and qualitative follow-ups of the district plans. You will be responsible for strengthen the local market access for our diabetes portfolio by creating forums for dialogue with decision-makers in primary and secondary care to create conditions that drive more focus and better results for diabetes treatment.

The person we are looking for has a solid sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including sales management experience with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Knowledge of the disease area would be preferred. You are a result-oriented entrepreneur with strong drive who has the ability to work in a structured and focused way under pressure. You are positive and creative and you have great social and communication skills. You need to have a solid business understanding and be fluent in Swedish and English and hold a valid driver’s licence.
