Teva is developing new innovative pharmaceuticals in primarily three therapeutic areas, Respiratory, Oncology and CNS where Teva has existing marketed products and promising pipelines.

The Nordic Medical Affairs team
The Nordic Medical Affairs team has grown substantially during the last years adding competencies and resources to cover the need for top quality medical affairs expertise with particular emphasis on external customer management and evidence based medicine.

We are now recruiting a new Medical Operations Officer to complement the Medical Affairs team in the Nordic.

Purpose of the job
To ensure operational effectiveness and full compliance of all activities in the Medical Affairs team by
o defining and managing touch points with other functional areas of Teva such as Regulatory, QA, Drug Safety, Medical Information, Sales and Marketing and Compliance
o providing back-office support to field based/external focused Medical Affairs staff across the Nordic cluster

Key responsibilities
· Manage, coordinate & support the Nordic Cluster Medical Affairs Team with administrative, procedural and operational activities enabling them to focus on external customer engagements by
o Setting up systems and processes ensuring operational effectiveness
o Implementing and train in Standard Operation Procedures and processes including appropriate documentation practices
o Supporting, monitoring and managing projects, tasks and administrative activities on behalf of Medical Affairs in general
o Engaging with and managing miscl. vendors including MI provider
o Adopt and adapt templates of contracts, agreements to be used by Medical Advisors
o Staying abreast of changes in compliance standards and requirements, externally as well as internally
o Building an internal environment of appreciation and understanding of the importance of working in alignment with Medical Governance
o Establish continuous audit readiness

External relations
Engagement with a variety of external customers in relation to operations, projects, agreements, information exchange in a service minded & quality focused way

Collaboration with Teva Colleagues
· In principle, work with all Teva colleagues to ensure quality and operational effectiveness, but especially work with
o Nordic Medical Affairs staff in the establishment and adherence to appropriate processes and procedures as well as providing operational support
o Nordic Teva colleagues within Compliance, PV and Regulatory Affairs, QA, Drug safety, Medical Information, Sales & Marketing
o Teva Pharma Europe (TPE) Medical Operational Excellence and Medical Compliance Director(s) in order to ensure alignment with global and TPE standards

Key qualifications
· Pharmacists or other relevant health related education
· Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
· Experience from similar job (for instance Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Compliance, Clinical operations, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical trials, Pharmacovigilance, QA or other medical role)

· Swedish LIF or similar exam/certification is an advantage
