Surgical Solutions

The Sales and Distribution Manager for Surgical Solutions (SS) is a newly created position within the growing Hill-Rom organization in the Nordics. The position will be part of the Hill Rom Nordic management team and responsible for driving the growth of the Surgical Solutions business.

The Sales and Distribution Manager will collaborate closely with the Nordic distributors to maximize revenue and market share growth for the portfolio.

The role is based in Stockholm and reports to the General Manager Nordics.

• Drives growth in revenue, gross margin and market share for his/her market segment and product lines within Nordics
• Develops profound understanding of local market trends, customer needs and competitor activities across Nordics to leverage market potential
• Assesses and develops commercial strategies and go to market models and channels for the assigned product lines and services
• Closely collaborates with and supports distributors to maximise sales regarding all aspects i.e. portfolio development, tender support, pricing support, customer visits, dealing with quality issues among other.
• Effectively aligns and co-operates with the Global Business Unit (GBU) and internal stakeholders and is key to the development of our creation of a matrix organization
• Is responsible for budget, forecast and follow-up of sales and margin. Provides accurate input and maintains strict monitoring of such information in the CRM tool (project, product, revenue and timings)
• Works closely with the General Manager as the subject matter expert for SS in Nordics and as is a key contributor to the Nordic Management Team and organization

Required profile
We are looking for a commercially oriented person with excellent networking capabilities. The right person has good ability to communicate and engage those around him/her. It is also important to be able to manage and navigate in a growing and changing Global company. Experience from sales and marketing from Medtech industry is important.

Education and experience
• University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education / studies.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in a marketing and/or sales position for medtech products – preferably long sales cycle products/projects
• International experience from matrix organization in a listed company
• Experience from managing distributors
• Record of achievement of sales & market growth through liaison with personnel in International markets
• Ability to travel (up to 30%)
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
