We offer services under one roof – from the initial idea through to sales. The majority of our products are developed in our Development Centre. Approximately 90 per cent of our products are manufactured at our own production sites and sold around the world for the most part through our own sales organisations. TILLSATT - Head of Nordics

Leadership position in an attractive leading company with premium, top quality products

The SARSTEDT-Group manufactures and distributes a wide range of diagnostic, life science, laboratory and medical products worldwide through a network of 34 international subsidiaries and independent distributors. For our subsidiaries in Sweden, Finland and Norway (with main office in Sweden, Helsingborg) with a focus on the sales diagnostic market, life science and lab automation we are recruiting a Head of Nordics.

Purpose of the role
Lead and develop all the resources and personnel to optimise the commercial results in SARSTEDT Nordic (Sweden, Norway and Finland).

Summary of key responsibilities
The Head of Nordics will be in charge of the above-mentioned companies` revenues, results and personnel (currently 26 employees). The main responsibilities will among others be:
• Manage and direct the organisation to achieve optimum profitability and effective use of business assets and human resources
• Develop and review policy, and plan, organise and control major functions relating to the operation and administration of the organisation. Increase market share with company’s product portfolio.
• Develop and implement distribution strategies as well as sales and marketing plans to include sales goals and budgets for Sweden, Finland and Norway.
• Reporting to the head office in Germany (Executive Board)
• Increase sales and brand awareness with existing and new customers
• Develop and effectively manage key accounts and opinion leaders together with Sales Supervisors in all three countries
• Manage Nordic management team of Sales Supervisors, Customer Service Supervisor and Financial Controller
• Legally responsible for the Nordic affiliates

The Head of Nordics profile

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications
• Senior management and solid leadership experience
• Experience from the diagnostic market is highly preferred
• Experience in the consumable market is an advantage
• Understanding of sales processes, marketing and brand planning
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Solid computer skills (MS office)
• Willingness to travel when needed
• Relevant university degree

• Strong commercial acumen, sales orientation, interpretation and analysis skills
