The Company

Immedica Pharma AB is a fast-growing private niche pharma group. The headquarter is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and the company has commercial coverage across Europe and the Middle East, but also Japan, China and Latin America. Immedica, a privately held company, owned by Impilo AB and management, was founded in 2018 through an acquisition and has had strong growth both sales and organizational wise, today employing around 70 professionals.

Immedica and its personnel provides significant know-how and experience from commercialization of rare disease, niche/specialty care products and the company’s management team has an outstanding track record of operating niche pharma products internationally. Immedica has capabilities to provide optimal access of specialty care medicines to patients with significant medical needs, including key areas such as regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, medical affairs, pricing & reimbursement, quality and product distribution.

Immedica has developed a well-tailored and efficient approach for the successful management of rare disease products, including orphan drugs. In optimizing access to the products, Immedica offers a package of complete commercial pharmaceutical services and strategies including marketing and sales via an experienced rare disease field force, navigation of the complex pricing and reimbursement environment, tender management, regulatory and medical affairs, drug safety and quality assurance. Immedica also runs an effective logistics chain for distribution of products globally.

Regional Director Nordics

Immedica seeks a Regional Director Nordics to lead the commercial activities in the Nordic Region, to lead and build an adequate organization to drive sales and profitability. The Regional Director has a full P&L responsibility and will report to the Head of Northern & Southern Europe. The position is located in Immedica’s Headquarters in Stockholm.

Main purpose of the job

The Regional Director Nordics will lead, build and develop Immedica´s organization and business operations in the Nordic region, ensuring a successful growth of the company. The role is key for securing short term deliverables, but also critical in creating alignment and dedication to the Immedica vision and long-term objectives.

The Regional Director shall attend to the day-to-day management of the overall activities of the Company in the Nordic region and to other tasks entrusted to the Regional Director Nordics as stipulated by law.

Main responsibilities

• Contribute to Immedica´s vision and long- and short term strategy by leading a profitable growing business in the Nordic region.

• Deliver on financial targets, with P&L responsibility for the region. The Regional Director holds a critical role in the budget and business planning process, conducting recurrent analysis and reviews both short- and long term and decide and set action for successful performance.

• Establish credible and well-working relationship with internal and external stakeholders to secure Immedica as a solid and trustworthy partner in the region.

• Utilize Immedica´s current product portfolio in the region, including relevant alliance management with partners, and take an active part in business development projects enabling the future growth of the company.

• Build and manage a solid country organization with sufficient resources and capabilities to deliver on and above expectations. With high leadership skills lead and develop a high-performing and motivated team, well integrated in the Immedica organization.

• Manage the day-to-day business, ensuring relevant business processes are well implemented with full compliance to internal and external policies and legislation.

• Playing an active role in the Regional Director Leadership team, contributing to the overall success of the company by ensuring commitment to the Immedica values and the creation of a best-practice-sharing culture.

Experience and qualifications required

• M. Sc. In Business Administration, or similar degree

• +10 years from relevant management positions within the pharmaceutical industry, experience of rare diseases is a merit

• Experience of a full P&L responsibility, such as in roles like Business Unit Director

• Experience in portfolio management and resource planning

• Strong network within the Nordic region

• Good understanding of the Nordic pharmaceutical markets and health care systems

• Experience in B2B, experience in working with business partners is an advantage

• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain and its legal framework

• Fluent in Swedish and English. Good understanding and ability to communicate in the other Nordic countries
