Exciting Nordic marketing opportunity in a succesful specialty pharma company
The position
The Marketing Manager will lead the strategic and tactical implementation of the Epilepsy brands and the Oncology brand Halaven to maximise the market share and revenue growth in the Nordic territory. The role offers a unique opportunity to interact closely with European Colleagues and the Brand leads in the European Knowledge Center in London to develop the strategic direction and platform for the brands.
The position will be part of the Nordic Eisai management team with extensive interaction with the European brand organisation in London. The position reports to the Sales and Marketing Director.
Key responsibilities
1. Be the key driver for growth of NBG portfolio in the Nordics
• Actively represent the Nordics at pan-European marketing forums and ensure agreed strategies and tactics can be applied locally. Be the Nordic Marketing lead and ensure EMEA strategy is adapted to local markets across the Nordics.
• Execute centrally agreed strategy and tactics in line with necessary adaptations to suit the local environment
• Prepare and implement local strategic, tactical and financial plans
• Delivery of full brand plans for all brands and indications as directed by EMEA
• Gather and act on local insights of the market and customers to optimise performance
• Lead the cross-functional Nordic Brand Team

• Significant proven specialist/secondary experience in a similar role
• Experience in the marketing of specialised pharmaceutical products
• Previous success of market access and successful product launch(es) in specialist market
• Demonstration of successful implementation of new product campaigns, ad boards, e-media/selling, innovation of new marketing solutions
• Team player – comfortable working in matrix environment
• Flair for creativity, new ideas and solutions
• Fast learner – You will be able to familiarise yourself with new therapeutic areas and compounds quickly
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. You will be comfortable conversing with the leading experts in any given field of medicine
• Competent in critical appraisal of data & evidence-based medicine
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility and have a good track record of working independently and meeting strict deadlines
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
