About the job

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced
Senior Medical Advisor CAR T to join our medical team in Sweden. In this role you will be the scientific expert in our cross-functional team and have the opportunity to work on a new innovative treatment in a therapeutic area with unmet medical need.

A Medical Advisor at BMS embody our medical mission in becoming a trusted, agile partner who engages in influential dialogue and delivers timely, high impact data and insights that advance the science or accelerate access, shape medical practice and drive appropriate adoption of BMS medicines. The Medical Advisor role is a blend of field-based and office-based time; the proportion depending on the life cycle for the compound/therapeutic area of responsibility.

The Senior Medical Advisor Cell therapy is responsible to actively engage with Thought Leaders and to serve as the Therapeutic Area reference point within their geographic scope. The Senior Medical Advisor is responsible to design and deliver the medical plan, provide medical support to internal matrix partners, and support clinical trial activities. The Senior Medical Advisor role is and extension of the Medical Advisor role and is expected to manage all internal tasks and systems. The Senior Medical Advisors fulfill their internal and external duties will spend a minimum of 35-40 percent of their time in the field with external customers. They will perform their activities in an ethical and compliant manner, in adherence with all BMS policies and external laws and regulations.

Degree Requirements

Science graduate e.g. Medical doctor, Nurse, Pharmacist or PhD, with relevant pharmaceutical or laboratory industry experience
Or if not Science graduate

Very experienced pharma industry background combined with a strong track record in effectively communicating and presenting scientific and/or clinical data to research or healthcare professionals.

Experience Requirements

- Pharma experience
- Working in a scientific and/or clinical research environment
- To be able to put scientific or clinical data into context to help physicians best serve their patients
- Experience in working x-functionally in team(s)
- Effectively communicating and presenting scientific and/or clinical data to research or healthcare professionals
- Developing peer-to-peer relationships with top-ranking medics, scientists or other healthcare professionals
- Training others
- Quickly and comprehensively learning about new subject areas and environments

Key Competency Requirements
- Superior Disease Area knowledge and understanding of scientific publications
- In-depth knowledge of a scientific or clinical area
- In-depth knowledge of relevant BMS products highly desirable.
- Knowledge of clinical trial design and process
- Knowledge of the National Healthcare System and the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of HEOR data and the ability to communicate value data
- Good commercial insights
- Knowledge of clinical trial design/process and outcomes research data (“Real World Data”) (preferred)
- Excellent English language skills, spoken and written
- The position requires that you are based in Sweden (preferably the Stockholm area)
