Gyros Protein Technologies enables bioanalytical solutions and peptide synthesis that help scientists increase biomolecule performance and productivity in research, drug discovery, pre-clinical and clinical development, and bioprocess applications. Proprietary high performance nanoliter-scale immunoassay platforms, Gyrolab® xPand and Gyrolab xPlore™, are used by scientists in leading pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, and CMO companies for bioanalytical applications such as pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, immunogenicity, and quantitating bioprocess-related impurities.

R&D System Manager
Gyros Protein Technologies is looking for a senior leader with experience of product development within the life science area. R&D System Manager is a key position at Gyros with the great opportunity to build, lead and develop the R&D Hardware and Software initiatives for the immunoassay business to secure success in the future, and to contribute to the company´s future growth and development.
The R&D System Manager will focus on leading the team to meet current and future needs, by developing and growing competencies and expertise within the team, by recruiting talent, by organizing the team in the most efficient and strategically fit way and by seamless collaboration and support for the other R&D functions, as well as other functions of the organization.
This role will report to Head of Research and Development, Gyros Protein Technologies AB. The role is a permanent contract full-time and you will be based at the HQ office in Uppsala.
We are looking for a person with strong leadership skills together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You believe in ownership and self-leadership, to develop the company and its business. You inspire others through your dedication and passion for the work.
Qualifications:
• Academic or technical education corresponding to M.Sc. level in relevant area
• Experience of product development within the Life Science area
• Strong leadership skills, with more than 5 years of proven manager experience (within R&D is meritorious)
• Previous experience leading a team of engineers and managing projects from conception to completion
• Experience of working in leading roles in complex system projects including HW and/or SW
• Proven ability to develop processes and strategies within HW and/or SW
• Previous experience of working as a Project Manager for projects including HW and/or SW is meritorious
• English and Swedish as working language
