Gyros Protein Technologies enables bioanalytical solutions and peptide synthesis that help scientists increase biomolecule performance and productivity in research, drug discovery, pre-clinical and clinical development, and bioprocess applications. Proprietary high performance nanoliter-scale immunoassay platforms, Gyrolab® xPand and Gyrolab xPlore™, are used by scientists in leading pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, and CMO companies for bioanalytical applications such as pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, immunogenicity, and quantitating bioprocess-related impurities.
Gyros was founded in 2000 as a spin-off from GE-Healthcare. In 2016 Gyros Protein Technologies was founded through the merger of Gyros and Protein Technologies.
The center of excellence for the immunoassay business of Gyros Protein Technologies is located in Uppsala, Sweden where we just weeks ago moved into a new office, a 5-minute walk from Uppsala central station. Regional Sales Manager UK/Ireland
Gyros Protein Technologies is looking for a Regional Sales Manager covering United Kingdom and Ireland. Regional Sales Manager is responsible for prospecting and developing NEW business, in the assigned target markets. He/she is also involved in account management of existing customers as well as in the marketing activities relating to new products.
We are searching for a person with solid experience of sales within Life Science to develop the business and drive sales results in the region. A commercial person with the ability to identify new customers (analyze the market, segment customers and be proactive seeking customers and leads) and with excellent communication and social skills. You have a strong drive with the ability to take initiative and with proven ability to establish contacts and maintain good long-term relationships with customers. We are looking for a person with an interest in Gyros technology, to help deliver solutions to the customers that accelerate the discovery, development, and manufacture of safer biotherapeutics.
This is a home-based position. The role is a permanent contract full-time, and you will be reporting to the Senior Sales Director EMEA.
Qualification:
• Master of Science, preferably within the Life Science field or proven experience from the area
• Sales experience from Life Science
• Good knowledge in relevant IT-tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and virtual meeting tools (Teams, Skype, ZOOM etc)
• Valid driver’s license for vehicles class B
