Systems Engineer

C-RAD now have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join the Research and Development team.
It´s a possibility to contribute to C-RAD’s mission to help cure more cancer patients and improve their quality of life, no matter where they live. This is a key position in an innovative, expanding Swedish Life Science company with a great team spirit!
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and documenting system wide requirements and system wide design for C-RAD products. The goal is to build up, document and maintain knowledge covering physics, optical, mechanical and electronical subsystems as well as computer platforms, and structural software design. The objective is to continuously ensure that the C-RAD products provide first-class performance and can be cost effectively manufactured.
The Systems Engineer will report to the R&D Section Manager. The role is a permanent full-time position.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person with experience in system development and system integration within the medical device industry, together with knowledge of the radiotherapy field.
To succeed in this role, you have a structured and analytical approach together with strong communication skills.
Qualifications and experience
• Master/PhD degree Technical / Engineering
• Knowledge in optical patient positioning techniques, covering physics and algorithm
• Experience in system development and system integration
• Medical device standards knowledge
• Knowledge in radiation physics and radiation detectors
• Knowledge of the radiotherapy field
• Fluent in English and Swedish
• A valid work permit for Sweden
