The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is responsible for defining and executing Bohus Biotech’s global commercial strategy, driving revenue growth and international market expansion across the company’s portfolio of Class IIb and III injectable HA products.

The role leads a hybrid commercial model combining direct sales in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Germany with a global distributor network spanning more than 60 markets, with strategic focus on Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

The CCO will play a key role in strengthening the company’s commercial platform through distributor expansion, OEM partnerships, portfolio positioning and alignment between commercial strategy and regulatory pathways.

The CCO leads the global commercial organization, currently consisting of four direct reports, and is responsible for sales performance, business development, and strategic commercial partnerships.

The role involves extensive interaction both internally and with international customers and partners. It therefore requires a strong ability to navigate different cultures, build trust across markets, and manage relationships with diplomacy and professionalism.

Profil

We are looking for an experienced commercial leader with a strong track record of driving revenue growth in regulated Medical Device or Life Science markets.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership and has extensive experience working with distributor-based international business models including OEM and CMO partnerships.

You are a proactive and driven individual with the ability to take initiative and communicate effectively at all levels. As Bohus Biotech is a relatively small and entrepreneurial organization, you are comfortable working in a hands-on environment, demonstrating a strong “can-do” attitude and the flexibility to contribute both strategically and operationally.

Qualifications and experiences

• Experience in regulated medical device markets (Class III preferred) or other Life Science markets
• Proven track record of international revenue growth through distributor networks
• Experience developing OEM partnerships, strategic collaborations or licensing agreements
• Proven experience in leading sales teams with direct customer interaction (end customers)
• Advanced negotiation skills across cultures and regions
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are considered an advantage
• Experience working in mid-sized or entrepreneurial companies
• A strong interest in and engagement with the aesthetics field
• Experience in the aesthetics sector is considered a strong advantage
