AMRA Medical is seeking a Head of Data Strategy & Governance to lead the development of its data strategy and establish effective frameworks for managing and responsibly utilising valuable scientific and clinical data assets.
This is a senior leadership position at the intersection of data, science, technology, legal considerations and organisational strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will join AMRA's Executive Management Team at Senior Vice President (SVP) level.

The Opportunity
As Head of Data Strategy & Governance, you will play a central role in shaping how AMRA manages, protects and utilises its data assets to enable scientific innovation, AI development and long-term organisational value.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Data Strategy & Governance: Develop and implement AMRA's data strategy, establishing frameworks for data ownership, quality, accessibility and lifecycle management.
Data Rights & Legal Risk: Strengthen governance of data rights, contractual principles and responsible data utilisation, including the development of a General Legal Risk Policy.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Align scientific, technical, legal and organisational priorities, facilitating trade-offs and creating practical, mutually acceptable solutions.
Strategic Value Creation: Support the effective utilisation of data assets for scientific innovation and customer value, in collaboration with the Product Organization and Business Strategy.
Executive Decision Support: Provide strategic recommendations and support to the CEO and Executive Management Team on complex data-related, contractual and risk matters.
Your Background
We are looking for a strategically minded and analytically strong leader with the ability to navigate complexity, influence stakeholders and translate strategic ambitions into practical results.
We believe you bring:
Senior experience in data strategy, information governance, business strategy, digital transformation or related areas.
Strong analytical capabilities and sound judgement in complex organisational and data-related matters.
Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
Understanding of data governance, information management and responsible data utilisation.
Excellent communication skills and professional proficiency in English.
Experience from Life Science, MedTech, Pharma or other research-intensive industries is advantageous, as is experience with data rights, contractual governance or legal risk management.
You do not need to be a lawyer, data engineer or AI specialist. Your ability to understand complex issues, lead specialists, build alignment and drive strategic decisions is more important than technical specialisation.
