Communication Manager Nordics & Baltics
The Communication Manager Nordics and Baltics (NEC) will be overall responsible for Communication in the region.
The responsibility for the role includes strategic planning, operational direction as well as hands on communication activities.

The Communication Manager will have both a regional and local perspective on the work. That includes adapting Lillys global communication strategies into relevant communication planning, operations and tactics across the region. The communication dimensions of the role are aiming at corporate communication, therapeutic areas and specific brands.

The Communication Manager will work in a matrix organization, collaborating with many different managers, marketers and other specialists in Eli Lilly. The role also includes contacts and relations with journalists and other valid media stakeholders.

The position will be placed at the Eli Lilly Sweden office in Solna outside Stockholm, reporting to the Senior Director Corporate Affairs, UK Hub in London (dotted line to the Managing Director NEC).

With the role follows frequent travelling across the Nordics and Baltics as well as quarterly travelling to the UK.
Required experience, skills and profile

Required Experience and Knowledge
· Experience as an all round communications professional with a broad responsibility and extensive knowledge within communications
· The ideal candidate would have a solid experience as a communicator in a corporate, agency or non-profit setting, preferably within Pharmaceuticals, Life science or Healthcare
· Experience from working in the Nordics is an advantage
· Experience managing public relations and advocacy campaigns
· Demonstrable experience of managing and providing public relations counsel on issues and crisis management
· Experience of managing internal communications
· Good knowledge of Nordic media and key journalist contacts and stakeholder relations
· Experience in managing external agencies
· Experience of implementing product communication and disease awareness campaigns
· Experience of designing and delivering internal communications
· Solid understanding of communication practice, approaches, media and tools
· Fluent in both spoken and written English
· High level user of MS office (word, excel, powerpoint)
