GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSK CH) is a key player in the Consumer Healthcare market with a broad and attractive portfolio of leading brands such as Alvedon, Panodil, Niquitin and Sensodyne, among others.

On the pain category, GSK has a strong position in both over the counter and prescription (Rx) areas among healthcare professionals. The pain category is also of relevance in other Scandinavian markets.

The opportunity
GSK CH objective is to further develop and strengthen the position of its pain brands in the healthcare expert market (expert=healthcare professional), allowing more people to do more, feel better and live longer.

The current Expert Activation Manager Scandinavia (EAM) moves on to another role within GSK CH. As a consequence we are now recruiting a new Expert Activation Manager Scandinavia to be responsible for the marketing activation of our pain brands in the Scandinavian expert (RX) market.

The EAM will have a great influence over marketing and operations for the products in Sweden and Scandinavia.

The EAM we are looking for agrees to take on their quest with the enthusiasm of an entrepreneur, who always wants to outperform in terms of delivering results and always meet each current and potential customer expectation.

Scope/Dimensions of the role

· Manage implementation of expert activation strategy as described in the Operational Calender
· Develop a valid and strong marketing activation plan in close collaboration with Brand Manager Rx and Sales Manager Rx
· Deliver strong marketing activities and materials with excellence in Execution, including iPad presentations
· Management, briefing and collaboration with specialized advertising agencies and other communication consultants (PR)
· Briefing/Presentation to sales force in the sales meetings
· Input to local knowledge to the regional expert marketing team
· Management of dedicated expert marketing budget

Competencies and qualifications
· Degree in natural science, business administration, or related
· Proven experience and strong track record in marketing OTC or Rx products, ideally in an international environment
· LIF-exam or a solid experience from working in the Healthcare professional market
· Good knowledge of and work experience with the Swedish market
· Strong communicator and presenter
· Excellent project management skills
· Competent in deciding and take initiatives/actions
· Strong commercial skills
· Part of a remote team; You are a team player who contributes to a superior team climate
· True understanding of expert thinking - experienced in transforming expert insights into strong activation plans
· Experienced from brand- or sales management is an advantage
· Languages: Fluent in English and Swedish, other Scandinavian language would be beneficial
· Travel of mind. 10 % of the time
