Sandoz is now recruiting a new Medical Affairs Manager Nordic to the Nordic Biopharma and Oncology team.

Purpose of the job
Lead all aspects of medical/scientific activities according to the Business Unit strategy within the Nordic. Responsible for planning of key activities, strategic medical input, educational activities and scientific/medical relationship building to external key stakeholders of the region.

Medical activities comprise mainly Medical Affairs activities for inline as well pipeline products within the Region such as scientific communication and educational dialogue, the development of partnerships with external key stakeholder such as medical opinion leaders as well as regulatory and reimbursement stakeholders and supporting clinical programs. The role also includes planning, execution and associated resource allocations for these medical activities. In line with the overall Business Unit strategy the Medical Affairs Manager functions a key interface between the Regional Head Medical Affairs, Head Biosimilars and Oncology Injectables Nordic and Global Medical Directors. Role model for ethical standards and contribute proactively to a credible image for Sandoz Nordic in the local Health Care and Medical community.

Profile – Medical Affairs Manager Nordic

Qualifications and experience
· Pharmacist, PhD Science, Medical Doctor or similar scientific/clinical educational background
· Experience from a Medical role in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in Medical Affairs
· Experience from cross functional collaboration
· Experience with biosimilars is an advantage
· Experience from Rheumatology or Dermatology is an advantage
· Solid knowledge about the Nordic healthcare systems
· Experience with regulatory authorities is desirable
· Fluent in English and a Nordic language
· PC skills
· Willing to travel domestically and internationally, primarily in Scandinavia
· Experience from Nordic collaborations and knowledge about the Nordic healthcare environment is an advantage
· Willing to travel domestically, internationally and in the Nordic when required
