Teva continues to develop new innovative pharmaceuticals in several therapeutic areas to complement the innovative product portfolio some of which have successfully been launched over the last cople of years.

Respiratory is a key focus therapeutic area for Teva. Teva has added substantial resources to create value for patients and healthcare in the respiratory field the last years. Teva is now well established in the respiratory field with high awareness and a respected position for healthcare and the medical respiratory community.

Duoresp® is an innovative solution for the treatment of asthma and COPD launched 2014 in Scandinavia. The respiratory product pipeline is very promising with new introductions coming to the market.

The company has developed and plan to launch an original drug, reslizumab, for the treatment of severe asthma soon to be introduced in the market place. Reslizumab will be an targeted treatment option for patients with severe asthma showing promising results in late stage clinical trials.

Our current Medical Advisor Respiratory in Sweden has been promoted to a Global Medical position at Teva and we are now recruiting his successor.

The Medical Advisor Respiratory will be medical responsible for the respiratory product portfolio in Sweden with a main focus on the launch of reslizumab for severe asthma. The recently launched product Duoresp is also a major priority as well as other upcoming respiratory products.

The Medical Advisor Respiratory Sweden is part of the growing Medical B & N Teva cluster team with currently approximately 20 specialists and managers structured in a matrix focusing on prioritized therapeutic areas in different markets. The role reports to the Cluster Therapeutic Area Lead Respiratory with a dotted line to the Medical Director Sweden (Teva Helsingborg).

The Medical Advisor Respiratory will also relate to internal medical affairs stakeholders at Teva Europe and Teva Global. There are opportunities and openings to be involved in European and Global respiratory projects over time.

In Sweden the respiratory team consists of Key Account Managers, Sales manager, Product managers and a BUM/Nordic Commercial Resp Lead supported by a Nordic Access Manager and the Medical Advisor.

· Medical Doctor, PhD or other valid health related scientific education
· Clinical, Research and/or industry experience from similar roles is an advantage
· Experience from respiratory is an advantage
· Solid knowledge about the Swedish healthcare system
· Broad and active network with external stakeholders within Respiratory
