The National Sales Director Sweden position is an exciting opportunity to lead sales and drive future growth in this important ResMed market.  Sweden´s success is vital to us achieving our goal of impacting 20 million lives by 2020. As a part of the Swedish leadership team, the National Sales Director opportunity offers you the chance to play a significant role in reaching this milestone.

Your primary goal will be to lead the sales organization comprising ten direct reports. You will deliver on a growth strategy and corresponding business model. You will play a key role in motivating the entire team to achieve challenging growth targets.
To succeed in the role, your deep and broad knowledge of local healthcare industry and dynamics combined with your strong commercial acumen will enable you to anticipate and adapt to market changes to maximize growth. You will think creatively and make bold decisions which will ensure positive outcomes for ResMed. Your leadership will inspire and develop your team, fostering a culture of innovation, ambition and integrity.

Qualifications and Competencies
You are a solid and mature leader with a highly collaborative working style. You are highly experienced and respected with strong communication skills. You demonstrate commitment to, and skill at, developing both yourself and your team. With a degree in Engineering or a related Business discipline, you also ideally have experience in a regulated tender sales environment from the MedTech-, Pharma- or FMCG industry.

Qualifications and Experience

· Experience from a Sales leadership role with several direct reports within the life sciences sector
· Experience of Account Management in life sciences and/or other related sector
· Proven track record of successful results and sales growth in a commercial role
· Experience of delivering successful outcomes in tender processes
· Experience from leading change initiatives and reinforce business development is an advantage
· Experience from Management team work is an advantage
· P&L responsibility is an advantage

Academic education in Engineering, Business or other valid degree


· Set clear targets that are in line with the company’s strategies
· Strong drive to achieve and ability to move tasks, projects, processes and people forward in an affective and convenient way
· Strong leader with an ability to focus on the goals and continue her/his course despite challenges, and at the same time being able to motivate and inspire the team
· Lead, develop, coach and follow up the sales team on an individual basis
· Strong influence and pedagogic ability including well developed communication and negotiation skills
· Proven commercial skills in particular experience of the tender process
· Innovative profile with focus on driving change and development in different commercial areas
· Excellent analytical and financial skills to inform pricing strategy
· A creative approach to building innovative product service offerings
· Able to lead the account management approach in the organization
· Strong leadership skills to support profitable growth through influencing the internal and external environment.
