Account Manager North Sweden - Bio-Rad -TILLSATT

Sales profile to leading clinical diagnostic company

The position - Account Manager CDG North Sweden

The Clinical Diagnostics Group (CDG) organization Nordic is now hiring a highly skilled Account Manager with a responsibility for the sales development of the business in northern Sweden. This is an appealing opportunity to be part of a successful Nordic team in Bio-Rad, a market leading company adding significant value to healthcare, laboratories and critically ill patients.

The Territory responsibility comprises the following County Councils: Stockholm, Uppsala, Södermanland, Gotland, Västmanland, Dalarna, Gävleborg, Västernorrland, Jämtland, Västerbotten och Norrbotten.
Karolinska sjukhuset, Aleris, Unilabs and Östersunds sjukhus are important accounts and valid business partners.

The Account Manager reports to the Nordic Field Sales manager and is part of the Nordic CDG team. There are currently in total 11 Account Managers and Nordic Field Specialists in the Nordic CDG team working together in the Nordic to optimize customer relations, sales and business development.

There are also other valid Nordic support functions at the Nordic Bio-Rad headquarters in Stockholm, for example Service, Tech-support, Customer service, Finance and HR. For tender management and tender support there is a Quotes and tender specialist responsible for the Nordic, who is coordinating and assisting in tender processes and projects. When needed there are more knowledge and support available in Bio-Rad Europe (for instance Product management).

To be successful the Account manager position requires extensive customer presence and a lot of field-based customer facing activities. That means some travelling in the region and probably a few overnights/month.

Required education and experience
· Academic degree in science, laboratory work or related field
· Sales experience from successfully selling products in the healthcare market, preferable in the laboratory field
· Alternatively, a genuine interest in, and a talent for Sales combined with a relevant scientific /laboratory education background
· Experience from tenders, tender management and solution selling is an advantage
· Fluent in Swedish and English
· Clean and valid Driver´s license
· Good knowledge of MS Office

The role has a regional responsibility (north of Sweden) and daily travelling is part of the job. The position is preferably based in the Stockholm region (home office with access to working desk at the Bio-Rad office in Solna).
