Position: Business Director – Nordic

Reports to: CEO and member of the Nordic Management team

Localization: Timik Group AB, currently in Hammarbacken 4a, Sollentuna, Sweden

The Business Director Operative Care Nordics

Timik Group is currently recruiting a Business Director - Nordic with a special focus on the products and solutions within the prioritized Anesthesia delivery and Patient Monitoring range. The current product portfolio has annual sales of about 40 MSEK in the Nordic. The long term objective is to grow the business segment substantially over the coming years by growing the existing portfolio and to bring in new relevant products to the product portfolio.

The Business Director Nordic will be a valid member of the Timik Group management team.

Anesthesia delivery
We offer a comprehensive portfolio of top-of-the-range anaesthesia delivery products. Our products provide multiple options for securing and maintaining patient airways and help to deliver cost-efficient, pain-free and high-quality anaesthetic care.

Patient monitoring
Timik Group offer a wide range of patient monitoring equipment in critical and emergency, cardiac and perinatal care. Our diverse range of products and accessories are compatible with many popular brands and designed with quality, comfort and easy usage in mind.

The
Business Director - Nordic will become the Nordic leader for the Operativ Care business (Intensive care, Anesthesia and Critical Care product portfolio). The role will have direct responsibility for the current business, business development, suppliers, key customers and sales in The Nordic region. The sales model for the product portfolio is based on both direct sales and tenders.
The primary focus for the Business Director role is to develop the business and grow the Business area including developing both existing produtcs in the portfolio as well as identifing new business opportunities and adding new products to the portfolio.

The Business Director - Nordic reports to the CEO of Timik Group. The Business Director work in a close strategic partnership with the Timik Country Managers. The role has also a close relationship and collaboration with different colleagues and functions within Timik Group. Among others there is a dedicated Nordic Sales team, service team, customer support team, supply chain and tender business management.

The Business Director - Nordic will have a continuous contact with other relevant stakeholders in Timik Group and with sales- and product managers from the various manufacturers we represent. With the role follows a solid introduction programme and a valid product education.

Qualifications, experience and competency profile

We are looking for a Business Director - Nordic with the ability to lead and develop the business and create strong long-term relations within operative care. The Business Director is a strong leader with commercial profile, a clear personal drive and a solid track record from successful sales and business development projects.

The position is based at the Timik Group Nordic headquarters at Hammarbacken 4a, Sollentuna, Sweden, combined with home office. The role requires travelling primarily in the Nordics as well as fluent Norwegian/Swedish/Danish and English.

Experience, skills and competency
• Solid experience from successful healthcare sales, preferable within medtech (Intensive Care, Anesthesia or Critical Care)
• Autonomous, assumes ownership and responsibility for delivery of agreed objectives
• Commercially aware and mature business leader
• Excellent sales- and business development results
• Proactive ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent interpersonal skills and informal leader capabilities
• Collaborative
• Professional in customer interactions
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & listening)
• Analytical and business planning skill
• Good finacial understanding
• Experience of tender business is an advantage
• Experience from a Nordic or international position is an advantage.

Education and knowledge
• Higher academic education, preferrably in health care, technical or business
• Fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages and English (oral and written)
• PC Literate/MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) CRM-system
