Reporting to the Head of Diabetes Marketing the GLP1 Product Manager will be responsible for the marketing and launch of Ozempic® in Sweden. The GLP1 Product Manager will be a cornerstone in the cross-functional Swedish team and the leader of the Ozempic® launch team in Sweden.

We are looking for a successful marketer with a strong commercial talent and the ability to drive business by develop and accomplish value added marketing initiatives for patients, healthcare and society. This from a position where there are extensive opportunities to influence the marketing in relation to company objectives, strategy as well as the specific needs in the Swedish Diabetes market.

This is clearly a key position for Novo Nordisk with the great opportunity to lead and develop the marketing for Ozempic® and also the potential broader GLP-1 portfolio in Sweden. With role comes many options for personal development both in Sweden, Denmark (Novo Nordisk HQ) and in Novo Nordisk globally.

GLP1 Product Manager - Position profile

Key qualifications

Education
• University degree or equivalent
• Marketing/Business qualification desirable
• Branch exam (LIF education or equivalent)

Experience
• Solid experience from successful pharma marketing or related role
• Experience from diabetes and/or cardiovascular therapeutic areas is an advantage
• Launch experience is favorable

Key competencies and skills
• Strategic business planning and commercial mindset including; market knowledge, market strategy and commercial acumen
• Strong Project leader/Team leader capabilities including; High drive for performance and reaching challenging objectives, taking initiatives, planning, people management, delegating, time management and decision making
• Expertise in marketing and marketing communication
• Creative and innovative profile, with a focus on effective value based commercial marketing
• Ability in creating strong KOL engagements, relations and support
• Market and/or therapy knowledge
• Solid knowledge of the Swedish healthcare market functionality and segments
• Financial management & budgetary skills
• Clinical understanding
• IT literate (Windows, SAP & ETMS)
• Well-developed communication- and presentation skills
• Fluency in Swedish and English on business level
