Market Access Manager - Nordics

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience from Market Access in the Pharmaceutical Industry from one or several Nordic markets and with excellent organisational communication and interpersonal skills.

The position
The Market Access Manager is responsible for all Market Access Activities in the Nordics, main focus will be on national pricing and reimbursement submissions, but also coordinating local/regional market access activities

Responsibilities
• Be the responsible person, specialist and main point of contact internally and externally for Market Access activities for the Company’s all products in all countries in the Nordics.
• Develop and submit and/or direct development and pricing and reimbursement submissions to Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Authorities. Formulate and advice the Company on most appropriate pricing and reimbursement strategy in order to ensure maximum chances to gain and maintain reimbursement of our products in the markets. Update and communicate prices in external price databases in order to ensure that prices become effective and available to wholesalers and pharmacies. Support Sales & Marketing with advice, recommendations and market access tools
• Maintain current knowledge of regulations, legislations, guidelines and requirements in the field of Market Access. Communicate those and relevant changes to relevant functions in order to ensure compliance and/or that most appropriate strategy is taken.

Main duties
• Overall responsibility for Market Access activities for all products in the Nordic countries
• Be the specialist person in Market Access related questions internally and externally
• Be the contact person with the Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Authorities
• Formulate market access strategies and plans for current and new products in the Nordic countries
• Propose the most appropriate pricing strategy to the European and Global team, for all our products, to ensure maximum chances to gain and maintain reimbursement of our products in the markets.
• Advice on local requirements for pricing and reimbursement submissions
• Project management of Pricing and Reimbursement submissions
• Develop and submit and/or direct development and submission of pricing and reimbursement dossiers to Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Authorities
• Collect and/or direct collection of input data to health economic and business impact models
• Register new prices in external price databases
• Communicate prices to relevant functions internally and externally (e.g. wholesalers) as required
• Provide support to regional decision makers with HTA (Health Technology Assessment) documents as required
• Provide support to the different business units in the Market Access field
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations and requirements
• Communicate local legislations, guidelines and requirements to the European and Global team
• Monitor environmental changes in the markets (competitors, prices, legislations etc.), evaluate any impact on our brands and advice on strategies
• Create and maintain local Standard Operating Procedures for local Market Access activities
• Formulate and implement required procedures in order to improve working processes in Market Access
• Estimate and monitor the market access budget
