Commercial Manager TILLSATT

Company goals
Aspen will continuously optimize the strong position in anaesthesia. Short term by optimizing tender engagement, pricing and other commercial aspects. More long term, there is an ambition of even stronger partnering towards the healthcare systems in the Nordics. In addition, Aspen will work diligently with our strong OTC brands to ensure growth in a multichannel approach incl. pharmacy, DTC digital initiatives and possibly some prescriber directed efforts. Finally, Aspen will actively strengthen the portfolio by optimizing pricing, introducing new products and assessing options in the market.
The primary goals of Aspen Nordic are to become a trusted supplier of high quality affordable medicines across our region.

The position
Core task – Maintain and develop business to ensure incremental/organic growth and be prepared to take in new portfolios as well. The initial key customer segments for Aspen Nordic will be: national pricing/reimbursement authority, tender groups, guideline/recommendation groups/individuals, wholesaler and pharmacy chains, Physician organisations and/or hospital therapy team may also be relevant stakeholders.

The company will continue to pursue its aspirations of creating shareholder value and ensuring access to high quality affordable medicines for people in need. The business model is based on an ambitious approach to acquisitions global as well as local. The position will be field based and with travel currently estimated at 1-2 overnight trips per month.

The product portfolio
Aspen product portfolio, acquired from other companies such as GSK and Astra Zeneca, is comprised of mature brands within a variety of therapeutic areas. This implies that there is limited/no IP on the portfolio. There are some so-called essential medicines in the portfolio which is an additional responsibility for Aspen. The most important therapeutic areas for Aspen in the Nordics are: anaesthesia, women’s health, oncology, metabolism and thrombosis.

Qualifications and experience
Education
Relevant academic education for the position e.g. within supply chain, finance or business

Experience
10+ years with pharmaceutical sales, tender and access experience. Or equivalent.
Demonstrated independent worker i.e. managerial role or otherwise with successful
administration of high autonomy.
Field and/or national access experience – ideally for both tenders and guidelines.
Preferably 5+ years commercial/selling experience
Competent user of MS platforms for communication and knowledge sharing.
