TILLSATT - Market Manager Ostomy Care

The position as Market Manager Ostomy Care

Coloplast Sweden is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Ostomy Care Market Manager to defend and build on our strong position in the Swedish ostomy market. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of one of Coloplast flagship business areas and have a pivotal role in the success of the company with excellent career opportunities nationally or internally if you prove successful. In the role you will be responsible for developing strategic plans that engages a wide array of stakeholders from the national reimbursement authority to patient organisations and creating impactful and engaging campaigns for Healthcare professionals and consumers. The role also offers a good balance between strategic thinking/planning, executing parts of it yourself and driving a large part of the execution with our sales teams.

This is a role for a driven marketer who can take a strategic and analytical view of the market, identify growth opportunities and act on it. To be successful you will develop a strategic marketing plan, engage with key stakeholders and customers yourself, while continuously executing campaigns through the sales teams. You will have to be a strong communicator that engages and motivates the sales teams and passionately communicate the benefits of the OC range to customer groups in all channels. Further, you will develop relationships our Global Marketing team to create campaigns and provide input on product development. Finally, you should not be afraid to challenge status quo and develop new go to market strategies.

You will report to the Head of Marketing and be part of the local communication management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the overall marketing direction for the Ostomy Care (OC) business in Sweden and actively, effectively, and continuously communicate it to the organization to ensure target achievement
• Ensure the strategy is implemented by the sales teams, has time in field as a priority and work to ensure activities are coordinated with other function, business areas and priorities
• Actively develop, review, and execute on the Swedish pipeline of OC product launches (including project managing registrations and cost for new launches) for at least 24 months into the future
• Gather customer feedback on product attributes and prototype suggestions for both current and next generation products
• Initiate and optimize relationships with key opinion leaders and patient associations
• Actively collaborate with Payers & Trade in shaping, submitting and implementing new products with TLV and tendering regions
• Develop an intimate understanding of the market dynamics, user demographics, advisory bodies and KOLs within the OC marketplace
• Continuously monitor market trends and developments incl. competitors with an aim to identify new opportunities for growth and stay one step ahead of the competitors
• Provide forecasting input for both new products and the overall revenue of the business area

Qualifications and abilities are

• Bachelor, Master, or MBA degree in Marketing, Managerial Economics, health sciences, or similar
• +5 years of marketing experience preferably including multichannel marketing
• Proven track record in med-tech marketing (experience from a major global med-tech company considered an advantage)
• Solid track record of marketing the incorporation of products and services to deliver better outcomes across the customer journey
• Demonstrated results in developing and executing strategic plans, action items and tasks to further the company's short- and long-term objectives
• Experience in digital marketing, health economics or public affairs would be a competitive advantage
• Sales experience considered an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
• Fluency in Swedish & English
