Vår verksamhet
Novartis verksamhet fokuserar på två områden: innovativa läkemedel och kostnadseffektiv generika. Dessa två divisioner stöds både av vår globala forskningsorganisation Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research (NIBR) och av en centraliserad administrativ funktion, Novartis Business Services. Arbetssättet underlättar samarbete över olika divisioner och bidrar till vår effektivitet.

På Novartis utvecklar vi ständigt vår verksamhet för att skapa en patientcentrerad portfölj innehållande ett brett utbud av produkter och behandlingar.

Novartis har 220 medarbetare i Sverige med huvudkontoret beläget i Kista.

Innovativa läkemedel
Vår läkemedelsdivision utvecklar innovativa läkemedel för att förbättra behandlingsresultat för patienter och vårdgivare. Novartis är ledande i utvecklingen av läkemedel inom primärvård, onkologi och specialistvård.

Generika
Sandoz är ledande inom den snabbväxande marknaden för Generiska läkemedel och möjliggör att fler patienter får tillgång till kostnadseffektiva och högkvalitativa läkemedel.

Behandlingsområden
Vi fokuserar på terapiområden där vi ser störst medicinskt behov och där vi tror att vetenskapliga verktyg för att ta itu med dessa behov är inom räckhåll. ADHD
Allergisk astma, MS, Tumörsjukdomar, Urtikaria / Nässelfeber, KOL, Psoriasis, Blodsjukdomar, Hjärtsvikt, Ankyloserande spondylit, Migrän, Psoriasisartrit, Ögonsjukdomar.

Senior Medical Science Liaison Ophthalmology

Novartis is launching a new innovative Ophthalmology product next year improving patient’s lives and filling the unmet medical needs.�

For the launch of the new product we are looking for a very skilled
Senior Medical Science Liaison, Ophthalmology to help us with preparations and to set up important collaborations with key stakeholders. We believe that the best way of doing this is when curious, courageous and collaborative people like you are brought together in an inspiring environment.

As Senior Medical Science Liaison you will be a part of the Nordic Medical Affairs Team including a Nordic Medical Advisor in Denmark and a Medical Science Liaison colleague in Sweden. You will report to the Nordic Medical Franchise Head. There will also be cross-functional collaborations with sales and marketing. In Sweden there are three Sales Reps and a Brand Manager/Project Leader.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Contributes to mapping / profiling of MEs / decision makers in line with segmentation
• Develops professional relationships, builds advocacy and gains contributions of MEs / decision makers
• Collects, analyzes and reports insights (i.e. CRM System) that may impact Novartis development plans / trial designs
• Liaises and provides up-to-date medical support to relevant external groups to facilitate listing of products in medical guidelines, formularies to impact pricing and health economic discussions
• Provides scientific information and speaker training to healthcare professionals to support the best use of new therapies developed and commercialized by Novartis
• Contributes to the identification of appropriate clinical investigators with research proposals that are consistent with Novartis product development strategies, and facilitates the Investigator-Initiated Trial (IIT) process
• Provides medical support and training (i.e. disease state and product) to Novartis colleagues (e.g. sales reps, CRAs, etc)
• Screens business opportunities.

Minimum requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:

• MD, PharmD, pharmacist, PhD or other relevant scientific/medical /technical background
• Experience from Medical affairs or other customer facing pharma role where communication and external relationship is key (for instance MSL, KAM, Market Access, Sales, Product Management etc)
• English and Swedish language: fluent spoken and written
